Prior to v20.00, it was possible to spend V-Bucks on llamas. Since Update v20.00, all players (Founders and Non-Founders) are only able to purchase llamas with X-Ray Tickets. Upgrade llamas and Mini-llamas obtained through rewards may sometimes also upgrade to silver, with a lower chance of upgrading to gold. X-Ray llamas will always come in either normal, silver, or gold variants, X-ray llamas will also show you what items they'll contain on the right side of the shop. Event llamas can be purchased for 500 to 1000 Event tickets, and there is typically one other llama in the shop that rotates in and out every few hours. Upgrade llamas can be purchased for 50 X-Ray Tickets.
Mini llamas can be earned in missions and will only appear if earned. If not, then there are options to purchase them. If the player has llamas available, they will immediately be able to open them. To open a llama in Save the World, players can open the Loot tab in the Homebase Menu.
